Writer Kerry Andrew will lead the Young Writers’ Café for young people in Inverness and surrounding areas in October.
Join Kerry for a Young Writers’ Café about reinventing folk ballads and traditional stories into prose fiction for our contemporary times.
No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.

About the author
Kerry Andrew (they/them) is a UK-based author, composer and performer. They are the author of three literary novels, Swansong, SKIN and We Are Together Because, and have been twice shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Award. They have a special interest in folklore, community, queerness and identity. The winner of four British Composer Awards, Kerry specialises in experimental vocal and choral music, music-theatre and community music, create alt-folk as You Are Wolf and co-founded the award-winning Juice Vocal Ensemble.
