Writer Cailean Steed will lead the Young Writers’ Café for young people in Inverness and surrounding areas in September.

A full day workshop to allow you to plan and work on a whole project – in the morning session we will discuss big-picture elements of craft such as plotting, character arcs, and theme, and in the afternoon there will be guided writing tasks. In amongst all this, there will be time to explore the beautiful grounds of Moniack Mhor, and the option to have a one-to-one with Cailean to get feedback, discuss your project, or ask questions about writing and publishing.

No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.

Please note, this workshop is free but but you do need to secure your place by booking below. By booking, you confirm that you are a young writer aged 14-24, and based in Scotland. For enquiries, contact youngwriters@moniackmhor.org.uk.
