This is an exciting opportunity to spend an afternoon with best-selling novelist Val McDermid in the surroundings of the National Library of Scotland. Using Library collections as a stimulus and inspiration, this workshop will offer the chance to develop writing skills and creative ideas. Val will be using archive material from the WWI Writers Propaganda Bureau to inspire participants.
