Join poet and nature-lover Nalini Paul in this two-hour online poetry workshop. You will engage in a range of inspiring writing exercises to get the ideas flowing, look at examples of nature poetry and find new ways of unlocking the ideas that might lie trapped within your mind, just waiting to spring onto the page (or screen). 

Join author and journalist Chitra Ramaswamy online for a month to excavate the profoundly complex, generous, and rewarding process of writing about oneself.  A 4-week online course, with guest writer, Amy Key.

Let’s repeat: sounds, words, movements, music. This session draws from Debris' experience of a multi-sensory ‘polylogue’, a mind filled with conversation, smells, textures, dances, images and sounds. By the end of the session we will devise new writing tasks and techniques, processes and forms, drawn from observations of our individual minds. 

How can repetition change us and our writing, transforming into new ideas, meanings and revelations? Do your thoughts loop? Do you replay dialogue over and over? Does your mind glitch on a particularly tasty word? How does this impact how you write? Through examples, exercises and exchange this session will unlock nooks in your writing minds. 

In this workshop with poet and visual artist Iona Lee, participants will explore the intersections between illustration and poetry, looking at poets who have illustrated their own work, visual and concrete poetry, the book beautiful, and the poetic image.

In this one-hour online session delivered via Zoom, writer Amy Key will read from her work and be in conversation with Chitra Ramaswamy, writer and tutor of Moniack in a Month: Memoir. Includes a short time for questions from our audience.
