Car

Please note that SatNav systems aren’t always 100% accurate at our location and mobile data signal en route can be patchy, so please print out a copy of the following directions to keep with you during your drive.

By Car from Inverness (via the A82)

Leave Inverness on the A82 towards Drumnadrochit/Fort William. Take a right at the second turn off to Abriachan, approximately 7 miles from Inverness (do not take the first turn off to Abriachan/Blackfold which is only a mile out of Inverness).  Loch Ness should be on your left before you turn right – if not, you haven’t gone far enough.  Take this single track road, which will lead you steeply up a hill, and follow it for about mile and a half, till you come to a road on your left for Foxhole, Beauly, Abriachan Forest Walks. Take this left hand turning, and continue past a small loch on your left, for another 2.5 miles. You will see the Centre signposted on the left when you reach the next  Y-shaped road junction.

By Car from Inverness (via the A862)

Leave Inverness on the A862 towards Beauly. You will soon see the Beauly Firth on your right. Continue on this road for c. 10 miles, ignoring any left-turn signs saying ‘Moniack’, until you reach the hard-left junction towards Kiltarlity (A833). Turn left here and follow instructions as marked from * in ‘By Car from Beauly’ below.

By Car from Beauly

From Beauly take the A862 heading towards Inverness.  Follow the road around a long bend to the left and over the Lovat Bridge.  Continue for less than a mile and then turn right towards Kiltarlity (A833). * Follow this road for just over a mile (passing Belladrum and Brockie’s Lodge) until you come to a staggered crossroads after a straight and take the left turning signposted Foxhole/Abriachan.  Just after crossing a wooden bridge the road bends to the right and climbs a steep hill through a beech wood.  Follow this for 2.5 miles, passing numerous houses, barns and fields of Alpacas.  Keep following the road until you reach the top of a steep hill, with forest on the left. You will get to a Y junction, with a sign for Abriachan and Abriachan Forest Trails.

Moniack Mhor is down the track to the right just before this junction and there is a brown wooden signpost at the top of the road.
