Writer Lucy Strange will lead the Young Writers’ Café for young people in Inverness and surrounding areas in April.

Writing a spinechiller! Join Lucy Strange as we explore different ways of creating a spooky atmosphere and building tension in our gothic fiction and ghost stories.

No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.

About the author

Lucy Strange is an award-winning children’s and YA author. Her books capture elements of classic literature in a style that is engaging and accessible for today’s younger readers. Often inspired by folklore, fairy tales and mythology, Lucy combines British landscapes and historical settings with touches of gothic fantasy, creating utterly convincing worlds in which anything might happen.
