The Art of Poetry…
In this workshop with poet and visual artist Iona Lee, participants will explore the intersections between illustration and poetry, looking at poets who have illustrated their own work, visual and concrete poetry, the book beautiful, and the poetic image. Iona will lead the group in exercises designed to encourage interdisciplinary and creative play, making new sense, no sense and nonsense of an area of poetic exploration.
No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.
Please note, this workshop is free but but you do need to secure your place by booking below. By booking, you confirm that you are a young writer aged 14-24, and based in Scotland. For enquiries, contact youngwriters@moniackmhor.org.uk.
