The award-winning writer Kirstin Innes will lead this first Young Writers’ Café for young people in Inverness and surrounding areas.
How do we go about creating complex, engaging characters? How do we keep our readers invested in the characters we create? Join novelist Kirstin Innes for an afternoon to discover the world of character!
No need for experience, just bring along a playful mind and pen and paper! Drinks and snacks provided.

About the author
Kirstin Innes is the author of the novels Scabby Queen and Fishnet and the co-author of the non-fiction book Brickwork: A Biography Of The Arches. She also writes for the stage and radio. She is currently working on her third novel, Semiprecious.
